Scope
These terms govern enquiries and services supplied by CHAPMAN & CO. All formal work is undertaken under a written contract or proposal which will set out the full scope, price and timeline.

Enquiries & quotations
Initial consultations and written quotations are provided in good faith. A quotation is not a contract. Work commences only after you accept our proposal and any required deposit is paid.

Payments
Payment terms, deposits and stage payments will be detailed in each proposal. Where applicable, final payment is due on practical completion and before handover.

Materials & variations
We source materials from trusted suppliers. Any requested changes after approval may affect price and schedule; we will confirm variations in writing.

Aftercare
We provide aftercare and maintenance guidance as part of our service. Specific warranty details (if any) will be set out in your contract.

Liability
We carry appropriate professional and public liability insurance. Our liability for any loss arising from our services is limited to the value of the contract, except where the law does not allow such limitations.

Intellectual property
All website content and brand materials are our copyright unless otherwise agreed. Design documents supplied to you for a commission may be used for the project but remain our intellectual property until final payment, unless agreed otherwise.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
